About Pac-Man.EXE

pac-man.EXE Small

Pac-Man.EXE has existed since the first classic 1980 Pac-Man arcade release. Pac-Man’s development company Namco knew about the mysterious and corrupted Pac-Man arcade machines. Namco code-named the corrupted Pac-Man arcade machines the Pacm̬̦̩̹̌͢a̪͓̮̼͍̗͑̿ͫn̛̥͈ͅ Virus (AKA Pac-man.EXE). The Pacm̬̦̩̹̌͢a̪͓̮̼͍̗͑̿ͫn̛̥͈ͅ Virus was rare. It appeared in about 1 in every 10,000 Pac-Man arcade machines produced. The Pacm̬̦̩̹̌͢a̪͓̮̼͍̗͑̿ͫn̛̥͈ͅ Virus caused unique corruptions in Pac-Man arcade machines. These corruptions changed Pac-Man’s core gameplay and design completely. Making Pac-man run in a dark, twisted, and sometimes even horrific gameplay state. That often caused psychosis and in worst cases death to whoever was playing the game. Namco ordered all tested Pacm̬̦̩̹̌͢a̪͓̮̼͍̗͑̿ͫn̛̥͈ͅ Virus arcade machines to be destroyed. Most infected arcade machines were destroyed. Because of human’s not properly testing arcade machines. Some infected machines were shipped out to retail arcades all around the world. How many are still in existence? No one knows for sure. Reports and sightings of Pac-Man.EXE have appeared ever since. They’ve even appeared in other newer released Pac-Man games. But without solid evidence, they are all make-believe stories!
